Start of the 2020 Legislative Short Session
The end of 2019's Legislative Session is today. Meanwhile, the new legislative short session is scheduled for April 28th, which is when I get to go back to Raleigh to fight for your interests. This session is shorter than the 2019 session, but I'm looking forward to what we can accomplish in 2020. 2019 brought many successes for our district, including increased broadband access for rural areas, additional funding for disaster relief, resources to ensure the continuation of Phase C of US 401, and much more.
You can find more information on the 2019 session here.
As always, please feel comfortable reaching out to me if there is anything I can assist you with. My contact information is:

Running for Senate
After thoughtful consideration, it is my pleasure to announce that I filed for candidacy for N.C. Senate District 11, which includes all of Nash County, and part of Johnston County.
I look forward to the continued honor of working for House District 7 during 2020, and will take that same work ethic and dedication to the North Carolina Senate.
For more information, please reference the information below, as here forward I will only be referencing issues related to my role as your District 7 Representative on this medium:
